Doing what makes you happy as often as possible is one of the greatest stress relievers. Hobbies like reading, writing, or learning a new language can keep you productive and even increase mental clarity. Research by Matthew Zawadzki, a health psychologist at the University of California, Merced, shows that engaging in a mentally stimulating hobby reduces stress and negative moods. The study examines the relationship between leisure and health and well-being in daily life and supports the Vital Lawyer’s core value of Vital Minds. Hobbies and leisure activities can provide immediate stress relief, which has been shown to have numerous health and psychological benefits, such as improved focus, happiness, increased mental clarity, and longer life.

Simple changes in the way you organize your space can have significant impact on your life.

Organization reduces stress and can help you gain control again!

Some time ago in the past, a lawyer’s disorganization was respected. Lincoln, for example, was known for being somewhat disorganized and carrying notes in his hat. But disorganization can now alert clients to problems with a lawyer’s practice. It also causes stress and reduced productivity for you. It can even negatively impact your health. Especially in this current environment during the pandemic when most lawyers have moved to home offices, it is important for lawyers to learn how to be more organized so that they can better meet the day-to-day demands of both their careers and their families.

This course will help you:

  • Gain more control of your environment and your behaviors

  • Up-level your productivity and be more successful in your practice

  • Clear the clutter and live a more balanced life

  • For a detailed agenda please see here.
